I would agree with 'shal's suggestion here.
We all have seen for here how some members react to the reports of
problems in some countries. Then they reply by highlighting other
problems on some basis they feel appropriate.
thus, To avoid this from happening, please avoid posting such a "series"
of country specific problem. You might get declared as anti-something.
Do post major items once in a while.
> Maybe all of them are giving into Americanisms but I should note that
common usage does not necessarily mean correct usage. I grimace when
people use 'data' as a singular noun but don't have the energy to
correct them.
let alone using data as singular, most pronounce as "daataa", where as
the correct pronunciation is "deta". So the americanisation is giving
way to hindi-ization.
> Yeah, but almost all of those jokes are NOT funny.
Well, it might be apersonal liking. I find several jokes like-able also,
irrespective of them being sardarji's or blondea or so on.

I have not read many jokes of Irish, Mexicans, Polish, sorority. Anyone
having them please do post, even if by direct mail.
At the list of sounding like anna, what/ who are sorority?

Excellent description. Ever since you have become a papa, you have been
thinking more philosophically. Good.

When a particular category is indicated, that is bad. But when several
such sub-categories are highlighted, it sounds good.
I am posting a joke by next mail.

Here I would suggest a change in guideline. Instead of "no sardar joke",
make it "no non-funny joke". that will remove 80% of jokes.
