PLACES WHERE SMALL BOYS CAN BE RAPED!

These are known situations which can endanger a small boy, 
and being aware of this can keep that innocent safe.

1. Danger in the house itself -
* from male servants when child is trusted alone and 
unattended. Rape can occur in minutes and the child 
is ruined forever.

* from elder brother, cousin, uncle, step father, visiting 
relative, in-house master or even a religious teacher

PLACES - backyard, terrace, godown, a gali or lane to 
the side, small congested bedrooms, a quiet part of house, 
in bathroom or toile, when no one is at home, a stairwell.

2. Danger in the neighborhood -
* from older friends who boss and bully the child and dole 
favor and protection for sexual acts

* from a feria, vendor, who is selling chana fali or gajjak or 
some such things which kids love and is bartered for 
sexual favors

PLACES - deserted yard, stairwells [halfway up a staircase], 
in backyards, near rubbish dumps, in deserted buildings, 
in bathroom or toilet

3. Danger in the school -
* from older bullies who terrorize the child and rape
* from friends who exchange sexual touching and even 
penetration
* from school teachers who can play favorite and molest

PLACES - on playground after hours, in unused store 
room, on terrace, in basement, at the back of school, 
in empty class room, in bathroom or toilet

4. Danger in the boarding house -
* from older inmates who sleep in the same room.
* from teachers and supervisors and senior servants 
who have great control over the child's life.

PLACES - in dormitories at night, in store rooms, 
at back yard, in teachers room, in his quarters,
in bathroom or toilet

5. Danger on school picnics and camping trips -
* from other boys or teachers, they have to travel, 
work and sleep in close proximity, in toilet

HOW TO PREVENT
Make sure to constantly supervise the child or depute 
someone who can be trusted.

Avoid male servants, be vigilant when ferias are around, 
keep tabs on friends and sometimes talk to them to be 
familiar with who they are.

Don't let children sleep in the same room with adults 
or older boys. Keep watch over teachers who come 
at home or are at school where molestation is
possible.

IT'S TRUE:

About a third of the total number of boys have experienced
rape from an older woman.
