---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good health is just the slowest, most lingering way of dying. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arya wrote: Pediculosis [lice] was an endemic feature. One day a wizened old man of 70 who used to be in the railways and had retired came up to me after the day was done and over a cup of terrific chai told me, "Aap is bacchoun ko Kali Phos kyun nahi dilwa detein hain, bada sasta aur susheel upae hai." I read up, got feedback, bought some bottles with a part of my dormouse salary, and gave out the harmless non-toxic highly titrated salts to brats via their hard eyed overworked anemic mothers. In 7 days we had a small miracle with 100 % eradication rate. I had occasion to use the same prescription in 3 continents over 40 years on half a dozen ethnic groups and came away with same results. ======================================================================== Dear Dr. Arya, Have you published your findings on pediculosis treatment in a medical journal? If not as a research article, then, at least, as a letter to editor? If yes, please provide reference. If no, I urge you to do so immediately. I am serious. Your observations are revolutionary. But they will remain consigned to oblivion unless you publish them. You owe a duty to society and to the medical profession to do so immediately. In 1977, I sent a research paper to Lancet regarding the effect of antiascaris treatment on growth of children. It was based on the findings of a prospective study where under fives were given tetramisole every 3 months for an year and height, weight were monitored every 3 months. There was significantly higher height and weight gain in the group receiving deworming compared to the control group. I was surprised by the response of lancet, the waiting time where was 5-6 months with a high rejection rate. I got an immediate letter from the editor saying that since the findings of the study were of fundamental importance for the health of the children in developing countries, they were going to dispense with the usual refery system and were going to publish in the next issue! Your findings of Kali phos as "100% eradication treatment for pediculosis" are no less epoch making; in fact, much more so. I must add that if you fail to publish your observations, you will, in my opinion, be doing a distinct disservice to the children of the world and the medical profession. Also, you will be tempting others to treat your observations with a little pinch of salt.
