Frank Sinatra had a dubious reputation of maintaining close ties with the American
underworld, especially the Italian mafia.  Though there are no cases registered
against Sinatra in this account, he regularly performed in mafia get-togethers and
was sighted at the funeral of some top mafia bosses. There is also a rumour that
after Kennedy assassination Jackie Kennedy had a romantic interest with Sinatra, but
didn’t pursue it because of his mob links.
