Remember these "Older Indians" where young when they too went to that
country. And they would have too taken some time to integrate into the
larger society .

May be larger society does not like what they see in current
established people hence subjecting current younger Indian to these
condition while they are very vulnerable.

Note: read "Older Indians" as people of south Asia esp India, Pakistan
, bangladesh etc...
