The information I gathered from News papers and my cricket crazy friends
indicate the following:

South Africa, Zimbabwe, India will be entering super six with 2, 4, 0
points respectively. This is because south Africa has beaten India, and
Zimbabwe has beaten both India and South Africa. But in Group A South
Africa is the top team with 8 points and India comes second with a very
good run rate of 1.29.

But when it come to super six Zimbabwe has to beat only one team to get 6
points where india has to beat all three teams that is Pakistan, Australia
and New zeland! India 's high run rate is also curtailed as most of the
runs she has scored is against Kenya and srilanka i.e.702 runs!
India's run rate in super six is 0.03.

No doubt India paid and may still have to pay a very heavy price for the
extra runs Agarkar and co gave freely to Zimbabwe, all in all 51 runs!!
