* DREAMS
I dream of a day when my life is my own
When I feel alive and love can be shown
As it is now, I'm cold, alone, and afraid
My fault resulting from choices I've made
My angel is there, but so far away
I'm begging for help, to my angel I pray
I cant do it alone, this I do know
But who do I turn to, where do I go??
I search for a while, then I give in,
Turn back to my choices, crying within
When will I find it, My answer I seek?
A voice is calling, though humble and meek
Until I'm ready to listen, my angels voice to hear
I will know pain, My own mind to fear
My mind is my enemy, pulling me apart
Memories of pain, and a constant broken heart.
The shallow comforts of the unknown, never having to be real
I pushed away all, in order not to feel
The pain is all me, The blame is all mine
Between life and death the line has become fine
This I deal with every day
I fight to live, I fight to pray
At times I belive, it does get too much
I begin to lose faith in what I can't touch
When will my dream, become reality?
I dream of the day I can know and love me.
