The speculations about PMship are now not so relevant .
As the events have taken place in last few weeks have cleared the situation,
there are some very disappointing conclusions.

1. BJP and allies, however  they try to formulate the Govt., are not able to
form a stable Govt on thier own. Although thier policies were good and
productive to the country, they lack noticably in areas of Media management
and foriegn policies. Also thier handling of Navy was seen as bad by General
intelligensia in country.

2. Congress has almost lost the status of democratic party and now it does
not have any national leader in its stable who has a wide support. Although
it has recovered from shocks of ninties elections, but that was mainly due
to Sonia and Inner fighting of BJP. Congress does not have any good leader
to show for PMship. All big leaders are reagionally well but not on national
level.

3. The Third front has lost all its strength and all elements are now on
thier own. They are pulling legs of each other and there is some
reorientations towards Congress or BJP. Third front had some leaders of
national calibre but they were too personally motivated and hence this bad
state.

 Now in this state when BJP and Allies are all ready to face elections with
there new alliance , Congress was at loss.
It had nothing in its stable as blaming Vajpayee Govt would have BackFired.
Since Vajpayee Govt was doing well , Congress had only one alternative, to
present one more acceptable PM and promises of a stable Govt.
There is no one except Sonia , who can be a big crowd puller in Congress at
this moment. This is due to fact that she is one of the Nehru Gandhi
Dynasty. Congress is even thinking of pulling Priyanka into compaign , so
that youths can be attracted. So If Congress is backing Sonia with full
force, it is for thier own existence at national level.
You can not expect from the Dumb and Selfish Congress leaders to take the
issues of wide national interest, like one raised by rebel congress leaders.
They are too barrow sighted to only concentrate on grabbing the Delhi Throne
. I strongly believe that  they will be no better than Vajpayee Govt. In
fact they do not have a leader with matching thinking of Vajpayee, Advani or
George.

But the real issue is that we (read congress also) are not able to remove
the charisma of Dynasties from our mind. This tendency lies in Our mind at
grass root level. Consider the Mass of rural and semi urban India , and you
will see the rule of Dynaties in thier mind.
I am talking of not only Nehru - Gandhi but also of Other kings who are no
more kings but they have retain thier status on the public. Take the
Gwalior, Baroda or Jaipur. Go to any village of these late empires and
public still give more importance to thier King and queen. I am not joking
as i belong to Gwalior and i have seen the enthusiasm of public towards
Sindhias. Even Vajpayee lost election in Gwalior against Madhav Rao Sindhia.

So why blame poor Congress Party workers when this is a general Indian
tendency.
