with all the requests for help for "Indian" Fijians.....

can somebody enlighten me as to what was done by these Indians for the 
fellow Indians in India?

Perhaps they have done a lot but I am not aware. If they have done well its 
time to collect!!!!

If they havent is it time to remember only in times of need????

That sounds like a cousin who remembers me when he is broke!!!
