venu, you echoed my thoughts, developed from reading over the years. 

according to albert einstein's "theory of relativity" and subsequent
submissions, time is the fourth dimension (apart from 3 of space). as an
entity travels faster and faster, for that particular entity time slows
down. theoritically uptil now, time could not become negative as the speed
of light was held sacrosanct and unreachable. if that speed limit can be
overcome, we can travel in time, forward and backward, as we travel in
space. 

the theory of relativity was challenged by quantum mechanics. quantum
mechanics proved conclusively that the behaviour of an atom can effect the
behaviour of another atom instantaneously, maybe even from  millions of
light years away. exactly what is propounded by astrology, by occult. is
that what God is?

more experiments and observations suggest that the universe is flat and not
curved as was thought earlier. and that its expansion is speeding up. so it
does not curve unto itself, it would not stop expanding and re-contract. so
what is it expanding into. we expand a baloon, we know it is taking up some
space from its surroundings. but what is the universe expanding into?
another universe? then what's that? is space an illusion? just a concept
created by us?

if the expansion is speeding up, that means the mass of the universe is 3
times from what we know of today - hot mass of galaxies and the dark matter.
2/3 of universe's mass consists of "we-don't-know-yet". is that the concept
of "ether" we talked about 50 years back and then abandoned?

E=mc2 . 
so matter doesn't exist. a particle of matter is only a confluence of energy
cirles. so we don't exist as matter, but are only an illusion. yes, what
hindu philosophy's been saying for eons.

	the movie matrix was another dimension, which explored the idea,
rather surrealistically maybe, that what we consider life, maybe an illusion
implanted in our conciousness.

	the whole vastness is truly mindboggling, if you sit down to think
of it.
