VIVEKA

To remain awake and not sleep. To remain awake when awake. To watch what one
watches and weigh. To weigh against one's own standards, not those stuck to
you when a baby and grilled into you as you grew. Viveka.

Traditionally this goes with Vairagya, and never were two words more
misunderstood and made a mockery of. Those who mean Vairagya as walking away
into  van-vas, or renouncing what they possess, would be the greatest fools.

Viveka lives where breath originates and Vairagya where it turns to return
and in this span lies your amplitude of wisdom.

Courage is Viveka's sister and is destructive by nature, doing away with
what is second hand and derived. If you embark upon Viveka, be certain your
shrines will be destroyed and Gods abdicated.

Vairagya is the braid of flowers in Viveka's hair, not separate from her,
part of her grain. Between the two is the final release from the binds of
breath.

If you doubt this, cease to breath and see.
