The Result of Entrance Examination for B.Tech

About 72 thousands Information Brochure for Entrance Exam. were sold.Out of which 62 thousands candidates appeared for Entrance Examination for 120 seats at 92 centres spreadover the country.

There were 6825 girls,6858 candidates have rural background, 32784 belong to city and other belongs to town area.

Aproximately one out of 520 candidates have been selected. 

3973 SC candidates and 881 ST candidates appeared for the Examination.

47 candidates have qualified from Uttar Pradesh and 10 from Allahabad.

The Result of Entrance Examination for B.Tech(I.T) held on 30th May are hosted on websites:
 
www.iiita.com 

Letters to these candidates are being sent spearately.The counselling of the candidates will be held on June 25-26 ,2001 at IIIT Allahabad.
