Hi there,
I think that u shud try to change ur company asap n
this time u better search a company in ur area of
expertise. I mean try to be in Publishing or Newspaper
Industry.
This is what happens when u suddenly change ur area of
work which is not in compliance with ur education.
Many of my friends who r Mech or Civil or Chem (I know
one guy who is from Metallurgy) enggrs. who came to IT
just for the heck of it, n now since they r laid off
they can't get a job even in their own industry.
Instead of just following a routined path of entering
into IT n landing in USA, I think that it's better to
outperform in ur own area of expertise as complying
with ur educational stream n then come to USA with red
carpet treatment.
Most of the IT ppl, they very unlikely get a
red-carpet treatment in USA, but I know many ppl of
non IT background, getting a red carpet treatment in
USA. So I think that this time u beeter switch to a
company
which is in Publishing or Newspaer Industry.
I don't mean to hurt anyone. These r my opinions. No
offence towards anybody,

Vishwas,
