Hi,

I got an email from Mike Jones describing an interesting project. 
He needs suggestions on places to visit in Mumbai that are not
the regular tourist places but are very interesting nonetheless.

He is making a film  for the National Geographic Channel called $100 
Taxi Ride.  They are travelling to 26 different countries around
the world and meeting an English speaking taxi driver in each country who 
can take them on a journey that would normally cost the equivalent 
of $100 in that country.  

India is one of the countries chosen and so thay are arriving in Mumbai 
on June 21st to stay for 4 days to make the film.  

The idea of the film is to take a trip with the chosen driver (who will be
the star of the show) and see India from the perspective of the driver 
rather than that of the tourist.  So they try to avoid normal tourist areas. 

One of the places he would very much like to visit is a Bollywood studio.

Which places do you think they should visit? The places I could think
of are dhobi talao, the Ban Ganga reservoir, Crawford Market, BARC, 
Jhaveri Bazaar, the Parsi Agyari near Fort, and the docks.

Send me your ideas and suggestions and I will fwd them to Mike.

The show does not have a website yet but they are working on it. 
Also, no info on when the show will be broadcast. I will let you
know as and when more details are available.
