Hello Mr.Ram Rao & Fellow Nukkies,
I couldnt have put it better my self.Yes the present scenario of the IT
industry being dry is ONLY for the "half baked competences".I completely
agree with u coz being for nearly 3 yrs in the core development in Java even
at this moment (of recession ???) I can still find my self a decent job if i
wish to and am sure the same is true abt others with same kinda experinece.
But Mr.Ram I think u missed the point i was thinking to make or did i
not make it clear (??) .
I was just saying that the people who just came into the IT b'coz of the
hype, should better beware. The scene is bad and is going for worse in the
days to come.
As far as the "street-institute-educated programmers " are concerened ,
well how do u suggest a person with a non technical back ground should enter
this field if not for those street-institute's.Or is it ur view that people
with non technical back ground are NOT fit in this industry.I beg to
differ.Though I am an engineer my self I have seen that there are jem of
people in the IT from non technical back grounds.
But the fact I suppose lies with commitment.Commitment a person has
towards learning rather than dreaming of making money.

    B4n,

    Guru.
