Your concern is no doubt genuine. I have a few brief comments.

1. I do not understand the statement: "the female to
male population ration is 60:40." As per the 1991 census, it was 927:1000.

2. The battle of sexes is eternal. It has not been resolved so far. It will
never be. Because whatever situation has evolved over millenia has evolved
in the best interest of the species. The problem arises when we, in our
fashionable theories of political correctness, start judging the rational of
millenia- old evolution by today's standards. It is not to say that I
support femicide. All I am saying is that let us not pass value judgments.
Let us not say males are vile creatures. Sexes are found in species other
than human. There are spiders who kill and eat up the male immediately after
the act of mating. There are mosquitoes where the female sucks human or
animal blood while the male survives on plant juices. There are bees and
ants where the female dominates and the males are mere workers; among bees,
the male dies soon after the act of mating. In rabbits, the male develops
seizures after the act of mating. If we look at all this from human angle,
it might look extreme cruelty on the part of the female. But there is
species-specific logic in all this. The spider needs blood meal for
development of the offspring, that is why it eats up the male. All for the
survival of the species. Same is true of the mosquitoes. And so on. As I
explained in my earlier mails regarding female foeticide, this phenomenon
may be conditioned by multiple forces affecting human species. Various
forces ultimately balance out and the equilibrium results.

3. Humans being born with intellect and having capacity for discrete action
[compared to reflex action in animals], it behoves humans, particularly men,
to exercise self control and self sacrifice, to fully qualify to be called
the most exalted of all creatures.
