dear all, the heated discussion on Hindus, Muslims and Christians has begun again. I suppose it will keep popping up every now and then. what is interesting is, a question on "is Sonia is fit to rule the country ?"shd lead to all these!
I do not deny that there are Christians like nelson and some Muslims who think this IS their country. a noble sentiment! let his tribe increase!(Nelson got married recently isn't it?) But have you ever witnessed the average Muslim reaction during a indo-pak ODI cricket match? my cousin clapped when Srikkanth hit a six in Shrinagar and nearly got lynched!
I would be happy to see the likes of Nelson to visit the north eastern states and preach Indianess!
What makes the Christians and Muslims behave as Indians where they are in minority and in places , be it kanyakumari district or mallapuram behave differently? I am talking of these people in general, not nelson or anyone else in particular.
it is just that no one shd expect to be treated more equal than others. but the politicians keep doing it for the sake of vote banks and when there are protests it naturally turns against the other religions.
one udhay thakre does not represent millions of Hindus. when did shiv sena which was essentially a "only maharashtrians in maharashtra" turn to hindutva?  when it became true that  Hinduism sells!
these politicians will use anything to achieve their gaddi and that does not mean Hindus do not have their own sentiments and grievances.
my request to people like Nelson is to propagate among their co religionists the Indian feeling.
let the Muslim youth start thinking if the tenants of Islam are worth following. let them not get brain washed. let them think for themselves and act. unless the Muslims get off the clutches of the Islamic zealots we will see no peace in this land.
