The other side of the logic is 
why killing animals is not considered  as much brutal, inhuman, uncivilized
etc etc as killing himan beings (Animals) ?

Or may be it is not.

I've seen a couple of postings depicting killing of animals as inhuman,
uncivilized and what not.

Just to remind you guys that a pure vegetarian diet also involves killing
i.e killing plants.

Could someone pls elaborate as to why killing plants is not considered as
much brutal, inhuman, uncivilized etc etc as killing animals ?
