If we were meant to be non-vegetarians, we would be definitely able to eat raw meat. We are most definitely the ONLY animals in the entire animal kingdom that COOK our meat (or CURE it with salt etc) before consuming it. 

Humans were most definitely NOT designed to be meat eaters. It is just a taste that has been developed because of this thing in our heads called 'brain' which allows us to exercise choices.

And - we do NOTneed to cook our vegetables. I should know :-) I eat salad for lunch every day - and it is all raw :-)
