place -shrvana bela gola (Karnataka), on the top of hillock.
time -years back.
scene- we have finished gaping at the giant statue and are about to go down.we are cursing the lack of exercise for the past few years which has made our legs and knees beg for mercy. 
a young couple is about to descend the steps . we are about ten yards behind. the lady takes a look at the task at hand.(or foot?) she turns away in obvious misery. "oh no, I can never make it".
the husband says,"oh yes, you can! just look at this step. don't think of anything else. you can step down to that, can't you? after that you can look at the next step. just look at one step a time."

 I stand back stunned! what a revelation. many a times our tasks look impossibly big. but with one step at a time...
