A CORPSE FOR DINNER

Husband: Dear, what's for dinner?

Wife: A lovely beautiful corpse!

Husband: Which one, my love?

Wife: Of that white cow at the neighbor's.

Husband: Which animal is that?

Wife: The one who was tied at their door these two weeks.

Husband: What part did we get?

Wife: Her fleshy rump and ribs with spinal muscles!

Husband: [gloating] What did our other neighbor get?

Wife: Nothing. They eat potatoes.

Husband: Who else got what?

Wife: Some got the cow's shin bones, some her neck, some her
milk filled breasts, some her strong back and spine.

Husband: Isn't it wonderful we humans don't waste anything?

Wife: Yes dear, that is why God is bountiful to us.

Husband: What happened to the cow's entrails?

Wife: O I forgot. The poor relatives and the children at the
orphanage got that.

[The loving wife brings a hot, spicy dish to the table, and both
sit, first thank God, and then devour the flesh and bone and
ligament and tendon and sinew and bone marrow].

[Then they retire to the bedroom and make love, with parts of
the cow heaving inside them, as they make the motions of 
ecstasy].
