though it was a gruesome incident it is clearly a case of mistaken 
identity. the attackers thought he was muslim.

i have always maintained that americans n israelis are not 
complete bufoons like us to keep kissinig their enemy time n again 
even as the enemy gets bolder n repeatedly kicks u. one 9/11 is 
enough "even" for the average american to realise that islam is 
the enemy whereas centuries of holocaust n partition have not 
taught indians anything (except maybe some stupid concepts like 
p-secularism that some people pursue to a suicidal extent).

secondly it is a very isolated incident the likes of which are to 
be found in india too pretty frequently. so does that make our 
culture intolerant and arrogant.

thirdly in most "muslim" nations such incidents are not isolated 
but form the actual basis of the law n culture. discrimination for 
non-muslims and torture is thier raison de atre. 
(afghanistan,pakistan,bangladesh,saudi-arabia,iraq just to name a 
few).
so would u please comment on the quality of culture in the 60 odd 
such nations.

in america non-whites n minorities can live much more peacefully 
"than" in many other countries of the world.(this does not imply 
that discrimination n mayhem is zero. the word "than" clearly 
indicates that the statement is comparitive in nature).

so please defend ur argument in the light of these points.
