Hi Friends ,

    I would Be arranging a Venus Transit Observation Program in My
Reputed College Seth GS Medical College , Parel , Mumbai  
   
The Details are as follows:

Method used will be 
Naked Eye Observations , Eyepiece Projection and Telescopic observations
with a mylar filter ..Instrument is a 5 inch  f/8 Reflector Telescope ..
PhotoGraphy of the Transit might be attempted . 

Time of the Observation for non astronomers will be between the second
and third contact ...ie 11:30 am to 4:00pm strictly .

Project Undertaken : 
Timing of contacts with UT .   Interested Amateur astronomers & people in
the areas near Parel & Mumbai are invited to attend the Program . 

How to Reach :
G.S Medical College & KEMHospital are located in Parel . The Best Way to
the college is the Railways . Route:-- Catch a train towards Churchgate
if you are coming from Virar End . Get Down at Elphinstone Road ,the
station next to Dadar ,while going towards churchgate . Climb the
Overbridge ,which connects to a flyover  .Move towards the East ( there
is a bit of confusion in that ) . .Move along and walk straight towards
the end of the fly over .Then walk again straight ,to intersect a fly
over ,underwhich is a traffic crossroad . Ahead there are two roads
making a V .Take the Right arm of the V .and move ahead till you
encounter a Circle .Move agin straight crossing the circle ,and enter the
first gate towards your right . Thats the College Building ..Then Move
straight ,till you get stairs .Climb on till the third floor ,then the
terrace ...Thats it ..!!!
In Short , Take a cab from Elphinstone station and get down at The
college gate ..The cab will go in minimum fare of 13 Rs ./ . There will
be posters of the event . Ask someone if you cant find your way .

Please Note : 
Monsoons are predicted to arrive in Mumbai by 6-8th June . Irrespective
of that ,
The program is planned & I will be there with the Instruments . 
If you people have a telescope or eclipse google you can bring them 
..If you dont ,no harm ,,we have them ...
