this thread brings some questions that have been in the back of my mind .
does an individual bear responsibility for what the government does?
to what extent?
am i responsible for what lalu prasad yadav does?
to what extent?
if the people in their wisdom or because the political arithmetic is
such, criminal get elected to the parliament and become ministers too
though this is their first time in the parliament to what extent can i
be held accountable?
all i can do is to vote for good people (if they exist) in my place.

i think it is important to separate the nation from the governments.
the governments are here to day gone to morrow.
what endures is the nation consisting mostly of people.
and the real example / representative of the people is hardly seen.
what we see and perceive the pushy people who make it to the media top.
or those who perform extraordinarily that the media is forced to take note.

only those who visited the country -like dr mcg- and toured extensively
can have an idea of the country.
one should not go by a government to judge a country.
