i do not for once condone it. all i said was there is a lot to be read 
before one jumps to conclusions.

tabloid journalism has beenthe bane of our times and it is very easy to 
sensationalise a story however banal it may seem.

as somebody once said each and evry one of us has at some stage in our life 
paid a bribe of some kind so are we not as equally guilty?
it matter snmo0t how small or large the bribe is that was given / taken.

and as long as there are elections and parties there will be contributions 
and ministers officials etc will have to be "seen" to repay the gifts. again 
i do not for once condone it i am just making a statement.

perhaps a system of audits etc to consider party contributions and receipts 
may come out of this entire scandal.
