I am surprised again.
As far as my understanding goes and referring to the context,
 I do not think there was any objection to any kind of
discussion...religous, spiritual, political or the Life sciences or layers
of earth for that matter.
 Discussions were going on.....as long as they were so.
 There was no discrimination either on any basis...minority or not....did u
see it anywhere? If people had passive participation it was out of choice.
Or took volumes of words in participation it was again by choice.
But the controls came in when those discussions became ugly disputes,
illogical statements to and fro.
 Objection (and then the action taken) was to that....dont we see that loud
and clear? There is a limit to things. There has to be a decorum.

Why Abhijit was dropped at that point, my logic says, Harshal thought now
next mail from Abhijit would be with more wonderful expletives and then it
goes on...he nipped it in the bud, so to say.
 and not throttled the freedom of speech, as far as my logic again says.
Let us continue the same or new discussions again in a civilized way.

Someone has compared that if our kids are abusive would we throw them out
too...well, ofcourse not....kids do not know the right from wrong. And we
are not talking about kids here.
Alright, if we continue comparing on a close family level...if we have a
friend who in gatherings while discussion does not take criticism fine
and gets OPENLY abusive....how long will you keep inviting that good friend?
And all others will keep quiet?

And it has been pointed out that my previous  mail was 'a diatribe'---i hope
it was meant that I was bitter and not abusively denunciative.
