As I have said before -
there is NO FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO SPEECH ON THE
INTERNET.

Such fundamental rights exist in countries. 
And countries have laws specifying those.

On the Internet, the absence of such laws 
implies that there are NO LAWS. You are
free to assume that this means freedom to 
do ANYTHING. That is up to you.

Now let us come down to the Nukkad list and
mumbai-central.com in particular. 
The freedom of speech that you so avidly espouse
ends when you log on to the site or subscribe 
to the mailing list.

If you are really so passionate about freedom of 
speech, why not start your OWN site and your OWN 
list? Vote with your pocket. Take your opinions 
and demands for freedom of speech elsewhere - 
and see if you can attract people to your site.

If you succeed - more power to you. If you fail,
learn that setting up a web site and a mailing 
list and keeping it alive and kicking is WORK.
It is done out of LOVE for the site and the 
list. Since there are no advertisements 
at mumbai-central.com I have to attribute this
to Harshal's LOVE for his site. 

If you are so passionate about freedom of speech 
overriding Harshal's love for mumbai-central.com 
and maintaining a civil society there - you need 
to reexamine what you are expecting from a 
mailing list.
