Ways to save hard earned money

1. Skip the Fridays, and Saturdays Pav Bhaji routine atleast for a month and see how much you save. Use this as a basis for any further action.
2. Make a list of what are your bad habits like smoking and eating gutkha. Then slowly try to reduce these over a month, and will be surprised that you are actually saving upwards of Rs. 900 a month.
3. In case you are a Company executive and you tend to outsource your lunch, then try to get atleast 3 times a week, lunch made from home. See how much of saving s that you could effect this way.
4. In case you have joined the local gym for reducing and are paying Rs. 100 a month for its membership, then for a month avoid the gym. Instead, go for brisk walking over long distances on your roads. The effect would be around the same, and the money spent is only on a good pair of shoes.
5. In case you daily take out your car for Office, try using a car-pool. Every second or third week, your car would use petrol. Apart from saving money, you would also be doing your city a favor by lowering the cars on the road.
