[nukkad] Nukkad -- inspired writers and thirsty readers

Dear All,

There are so many creative minds on Nukkad. Mainly poets. But there is also
Asha whose prose has poetic value of highest standard. And there is Taher,
who writes both prose and poetry. And Shyami, whose pieces can be found on
other sites.

And there are dozens of us who love to read their writings [provided all of
us can understand the language!  : )  ]. What if their poems/musings/stories
left the world of bytes? What if they entered the world of paper books,
bookshops, and bookshelves in our homes..? Hope not everywhere the
bookshelves have been replaced with cd and diskette boxes...

Just think of a book you could read when travelling... a book you could keep
on your bedside table, with  favourite lines you could have a glance at
just before falling asleep...

It could be in Hindi and English, as each has its unique flavour, let alone
the range of understanding readers....

Some time last year I suggested the idea [in the English or English-Polish
version] to one of Polish publishers, but did not prove to be an efficient
negotiator.  : (

What do publishers in the list think about it?  We could participate in
raising funds. Does it sound realistic?

I am not the only one, I guess, who would love to have such a book.
