Ref:

A crow in peacock feathers. Thats the man.
MCG you are easily convinced.
..............

nah the man is naturally slow :) so his speech is also
measured because of a limited vocabulary.

I am glad I am not the only US basher:)

I continue with my views about US and its policies. All I said was that I
found something to admire in George Bush as a person. Why should I hate him
as a person if I hate his actions as the Prez? If you find dichotomy here,
please refer to Mahatma Gandhi's statement: Hate the sin, not the sinner.
[In any case, let this not be construed as if I am trying to pinpoint
anybody as sinner. It is not for me to judge. I merely give my opinion and
perspective].

BTW, to have a measured speech is a highly admirable trait that all of us
should try to acquire.

Let me point out a dichotomy in your assessment of him. You have tried to
judge him subjectively as well as objectively. In the former, you have even
indulged in value judgment, which it is best to avoid:

nah the man is naturally slow :) -- Subjective value judgment

his speech is measured -- objective assessment

he has a limited vocabulary-- This appears to be an objective assessment,
though, in my opinion, a wrong one. I listened to all what he said on TV. I
did not find any time he fumbled for words; or made do with a word that
really did not fit; or used an inappropriate word; or did not use a word
that should have been used as a better choice; or, what is most irritating,
did not use those aah, hummmm, I mean, what I mean is, what's it called, I
forget the name, you know, etc.

Further, I didn't think that his physical and mental responses were slower
a bit than normal for his age. As a matter of fact, to me they appeared
faster than the average at his age. Mine would probably be slower than his.
Vajapayee is an example in the extreme opposite.
