Hello MCG,

Sorry I was away so could not give you the solution earlier. I hope
you have not tried to reinstall Word as often that does not solve the
problem.

All you do is locate the Normal.dot file and make a backup of it to
another location (like My Documents) and then delete it from where you
find it. Its usual location depends on the Windows version.
