Re: [nukkad] MRI of George Bush

I am not an anybody basher. But do stay away from treading on my toes :-)
That statement was in good humour.
Measured speech articulate etc are fine. When you have worked with a
few westerners in a region like the middle east, measured and slow
speaking "whites" often do that not because they practice "a measured
speech" or are articulate but purely because they think that like any
other person who isn't white your comprehension of the English
language is poor. Of course those fears are very very soon dispelled
when they meet most Indians. Of course some of them club all Indians
in the same category and I feel sorry for them.
Bush is not a leader of men despite having won the elections twice. He
had a great marketing team, one of those that could sell a corpse as
someone being comatose.
The oil lobby that is behind him ensures that he stays in power so
they can manipulate him every which way they want. Do not forget that
although Bush has agreed to the N-deal he still needs to get an
approval from back in the US.
On a more positive note having been cleared for the Nuclear deal
Manmohan Singh is now invited to the G-8 meeting in Moscow. The Indian
star is definitely on the ascent. With the "leader" acknowledging us
(our importance), all the rest will toe the line.

A lighter moment "I'd rather be hunting with Dick Cheney, than riding
with Ted Kennedy" is apparently the message on a new bumper sticker
