I think you read too much into statements here. So much that you find
things that the writer did not intend/mean.
And then you come up with some bloopers.

You confuse race with community. If you have an Indian and i mean an
Indian all through not contaminated by invaders blood, the the genetic
make up of all the following will be the same, 
Muslim/Hindu/Jain/Christian.

I never said anything about communities being different or their
sociological impact.

Stronger than the Wahabi brand of Islam is the one in your own
backyard. The Deoband School of UP from whom the Taliban draw
inspiration.

I do not think I picked on Karelia, you make it appear that I do. To
what end I wonder.
I just mentioned something I have learnt a long time ago. and that in
yet another example is

".........first there was God, who made man, who made religions, which
established Gods...."
