It has been so long, I don't really remember there being TWO canteens
at Khalsa. (I would have known - hungry guy that I was). There were so
few girls in science,  it might have seemed, to the untrained
observer, that there are no girls in the only canteen that was there.

Let me clarify that girls WERE allowed in the canteen (the only one
that we had) and that girls usually didn't frequent the canteen area
mainly because they had their heads screwed on right - unlike the
salivating boys that outnumbered the girls something like 40 to 1 or
thereabouts.

The amazing thing was that the Arts stream had the exact opposite
ratio. Not that it helped ... or mattered.
