Also the dollar sign before and after the folder name is MS's designation that
they are temporary and removable, and the dollar sign keeps em all right at the
top of the directory for ease of locating them and removing them. So, anything
that looks like $NtUninstallKB926255$ is an Security Pack ('KB' - Knowledge
Base article) uninstall folder and can be deleted if you do not plan to
uninstall the patch.
