The Other: To the Dark Forest Which Walks.

The One: [wide eyed] To the What?
The Other: Its a place where all the Apache Riders of the past come to 
meet in the
hills of Northern Utah..

The One: Come from the past? Like they are no longer alive?
The Other: People are alive and no longer vital. They are the other way 
around, steady
of eye, true of tongue, friends most constant, enemies always in honor.

The One: [dubious] And what shall we do when we reach there?
The Other: Watch. When the Dark Forest will call, they will begin the 
Dance. It
is something only the very privileged can see.

The One: Dead warriors from the past, with weapons and a hair trigger 
temper,
dancing to the call of the Dark Forest. Can we go to Fish Harbor in San 
Francisco instead?
The Other: Go there if you will, and I will hence to be with the Ghost 
Warriors. In the next
few nights the stars will conjunct, the Equinox set in, and in that 
window in time much will
come to pass.

The One: You are weird. What would you do there anyway?
The Other: I had given my Word Token I would be there.

The One: What in the world is that?
The Other: Can't tell.

The One: [annoyed] Can't tell to your own very best friend?
The Other: I have no friends.

The One: [hurt] Well, excuse me, I took myself to be one, sorry for 
existing.
The Other: I have to go. Take care to fade well, and return at the 
appointed place.

[Fades. The Other, taken off guard, sulks for a while and also fades]

[In the far skies, dark clouds gather, and the roll of great deep drums 
can be heard. The Dance is about to begin]
