Re: [nukkad] Kashmir Singh was indeed a spy?

What Kashmir Singh suffered is an occupational hazard for a Spy.
Government of India's refusal to admit this is understandable as no
Government will admit of spying on another country.

What is deplorable in this incident is that Government of India did
not look after the family of Kashmir Singh. As Singh was undergoing
imprisonment for the sake of his country, the Government should have
given liberal financial compensation to the family during those 35
years. That would not console or compensate for 35 years of young
life, but that was the least the Government could have done and the
basic duty of the Government.
