Very good query, appreciate very much. The book was authored in back in
mid-60s, 1965
to be exact. Much has changed since then. The new generation Keralites are a
sweet breed,
far more affable, amiable, warm, co-operative and cosmopolitan minded, and
less akin to
petty groupism of narrow regional mindedness of the older variety. Once they
embark upon
industrialization of the state on modern lines, things like perennial
unemployment will become
the issues of the past. How much industrial output will be boosted, how many
new jobs will
be created, even if it is firmly established by the world body of
archeologists and historians that the entire Indus Valley as well as Ganges
civilizations were exclusively Dravidian ?
