It really matters not, who said it first, provided it provides penecia (
care not my spelling )
for the prevailing ills !!! Like many such sweet sounding rhetorics, this
too failed to prevent
two great wars and the inhuman carnage of the partition occured during the
life time of the
pronouncer. And if you are a reader of Jain books in Gujarati you will know
from where Mohan bhai Gandhi bhai helped himself ................ try find
which priest his parents called on to administer to him his three famous
vows ................. This plural world will never abide by one doctrine,
no matter coming it from the mouth of Mohammed or Mahavir ( two extremes ).
