Dear Manojbhai, Namaskar

In fact we have been utilizing RTI as a tool to get information.  We had
filed RTI with DHO Jamnagar citing clearly the names of the quack
doctors, but he replied that it is not his duty to verify since he goes
through only official documents or official registration of doctors.

We received the letter from Gujarad Medical Council Ahmedabad, stating
that DSP Jamnagar and DHO Jamnagar are respective authority who can take
direct action under Medical Practitioners Act 1963, IPC 419 etc.

Now we are pondering to approach Okha Police station seeking their
protection so that we can photograph the illegal clinic of quack
doctors. 

Also I had a 15 minutes talk with Hon. Minister-H&FW, Shri Jaynarayan
Vyas, and he has asked me not to work in haste, but gather as much as
information and evidence, so that he can support our cause.

Have you tried filing an application under the Right To Information Act?
The state of Gujarat is in the fore front in this field and had produced
amazing results in the state. It cost just Rs.10/- to file an
application.

So go ahead and file one with the Public Information Officer of the Okha
Police Station. Ask them on what action they have taken, reason for not
accepting your complain etc.
