Re: Re[2]: [nukkad] The decay of civilisation

I have seen the new movie [and the old one also]. The new one is full of
respect for Jodha. It brings out a unique strength of character in her,
hithertofore not mentioned in history books. There is not the slightest
disrespect to her. And, NONE has been alleged by the protesters.

Literacy level today is about 66%. Less that one fourth would mean less
than 16%. Level 47 years ago was about 40%.

If the government starts playing to gallery in a show where the gallery
show-pieces are those minority of the population who are good for nothing
do-littles out to make a fast buck in the name of minority groups /
religion, and the government looks the other way when law is being broken
impudently, or even sides with the mob, it is an unfortunate slide
back towards a state of lawless society, which cannot be countered
by manouevering how to count 10.

The first step to solve a problem is to recognize the existence of the
problem. Those who live in a mode of denial deny much to themselves and
their country.
