let us look at the problem from the other end. If nothing is objectionable
in the movie
what could be the reason behind two governments putting a ban on its
screening ?
The only point I can think of is they do not wish to see a Hindu woman
husbanded by
a Muslim ruler*. This reason alone for the ban may sound very funny and
defying sense,
but then try to screen a film in which a muslim woman is married to a Hindu
man in any
Muslim country, who are otherwise VERY CRAZY about Indian cinema. When
viewed
from this natural reaction angle, the issue demands a fresh consideration
into.
More, if any, after seeing the film.

* It may be noted that throughout the period of Muslim rule in India, the
Hindu rulers, chieftains were forced to offer their sisters, daughters to
Muslim Sultans, a price they had to pay to buy peace.
