[nukkad] Muslim countries and their theocracy

Hi Rohit and others,

I think here we come to the basics. India is not
theocractic while Muslim countries by definition are,
and thats why we shwo what we show. We cant wax hot
and cold at the same time. If we have to lay claim to
being a secular country, we have to walk the talk.

Incidentally, on the same topic have you observed
this: in more than 10-20 films, the hero and the
heroine are shown stealing twenty glances inside a
temple or a church, in front of the altar or the
statue. Everyone giggles, and this is acecpted. Hindu
priests have been shown as Kapti even by Raj Kapoor.
No one fools around with the Muslim religion thus. All
the scenes I remember of Muslim religion displayed in
films is that of religious fervour, (I remember a
scene where a Hindu friend holds his bleeding hand
being cut by a sword over Aditya Pancholi, a muslim
whilst he is offering Namaz.

I guess we cant complain about this depiction as well,
can we?
