How torturous it would have been for a learner to memorize a word which, with the help of dozens of awkward sounding conjuctions, ran into few lines and one sentence constructed of such clumsy words ran into dozens of lines, and very often into several pages, without a full stop.. All this overdoing by the Pandits ensured exit of Sanskrit language from our day to day life. I guess that is what Anna was curious to seek clarification : Why so many syllables ?
