That shows the power the Courts have even over 'acts of God'.  ;-)

The bar owner thought he can get compensation from God's devotees for an
"act of God"  and  the devotees believed that the Court may punish them for
the  "act of God".

Lesson No. 1: In people's mind Fear of Judiciary overrides fear of God.

The Judge himself must have felt like God sitting in judgment on an 'act of
God'.

Lesson No. 2: Our Judiciary is omnipotent! God comes second.
