I think its unlikely that Patrick Henry had slaves from North and East
Africa. I found this link on the net which confirms that most slaves for the
trade in the West came from West Africa as I presumed.
Of the total number of slaves exported, only 8% came from East Africa that
too Madagascar which was already a Portuguese colony.
