Nukkad is not a specialist / technical forum. It is a forum for intelligent
laymen to discuss intelligently various issues. These various issues may be
general issues discussed in a general manner; or, special / technical  issues
discussed in a general manner. Nukkad is not the forum for discussion of
special / technical issues by specialists / technically qualified people in
a special / technical manner. Such discussion is better carried out directly
among the specialists concerned as per the norms and standards of the
related speciality.



Oncology in general and questions regarding etiology, prevention and
management of neoplasia in particular are best discussed amongst qualified
members of the profession, without making it a cheap public show. In a
scientific discussion, it is best to avoid positions of contest, such as
Delhi v. Mumbai or North v. South. Science is not a game of cricket. Science
is discussed between two scientists by seriously raising a scientific doubt
/ counterpoint, duly supported by evidence, till they reach common
understanding, or, if the evidence is marshaled pretty strongly by both
sides, till they agree that the issue concerned cannot be fully agreed or
opposed on the basis of available scientific knowledge / evidence.
