There is another joke told us by the famous Indian scientist
Dr.JayantNarlikar in a lecture
in Ruia College where I studied for two years. The topic of discussion was
science v/s
technology. Those were the days when the Americans had just landed their
first man on  the moon and the atmosphere was surcharged with space talks.
And Narlikar, a Nobel Prize
contender was/is an expert on astro-physics. Thus spake he :

Now that the mission to moon is a success, they all say, look the progress
science has made.

Had it failed, the same lot would say, technology failed !!!

There was a thuderous clap in the class. Perhaps he was mentally preparing
prospective
candidates who would soon join engineering colleges to face the
discrimination in life !
