When in china...look for dingding not Tintin (-8
and Tintin in Tibet becomes... obviously Tintin in Chinese Tibet!

Decades after the first pirated copies of Tintin appeared in China, comic books 
featuring the Belgian cartoon hero are now available legally -- with some 
changes. Tintin will be called Dingding in the Chinese version, and "Tintin in 
Tibet has become Tintin in Chinese Tibet, to reflect Beijing's claim that Tibet 
is part of China. The Chinese publishers -- China Children Publishing House -- 
have decided not to market Tintin in the Land of the Soviets, deeming it anti-
communist." Some of the content was changed for linguistic, rather than 
political reasons, as "the deliberately primitive language -- often criticised 
as racist -- of the Africans in Tintin in the Congo was simply untranslatable."
