Ref: "Can someone give me info regarding the following -

1) Adoption policies in India.
2) What is the best way to study Law? So many
sections!!"
=========================================================

1. Adoption is determined by law, not policies. Adoption law is
part of personal laws. For Hindus, there is Hindu Adoptions and
Maintenance Act, 1956. Adoption policy with regard to adoption bt
foreigners is naturally strict to prevent misuse.

2. There are 4 ways to study law:

a. Join 3 year LLB course after graduation
b. Join 5 year LLB course after 10+2
c. Join 3 year degree course in law like BL [bachelor of Law] or
BAL [Bachelor of Academic Law]. Annamalai Univ etc offer such
course by correspondence too. This course does not entitle you to
practise as advocate.

d. Join a diploma course like diploma in labour law, environmental
law, medical law etc offered by institutions like Amity,
Symbiosis, ILI etc.
